Community Connect by Apex Grounds (“Community Connect,” “we,” “us”) operates an SMS-based text messaging service that provides HOA community residents with automated answers to community questions.
Information We Collect: When you text a Community Connect number, we receive your mobile phone number and the content of your text message. This information is used solely to process your question and deliver a response.
How We Use Your Information: We use your phone number and message content only to respond to your community-related question. We do not store conversations long-term, sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes, send unsolicited marketing messages, or create user profiles.
Third-Party Services: Our service uses Twilio (twilio.com/legal/privacy) for SMS message delivery and Anthropic for AI-powered response generation. These providers process data solely to operate the service.
SMS Messaging Terms: By texting a Community Connect number, you consent to receive automated informational text messages in response to your inquiries. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies based on your inquiries. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt-In: Users opt in to receive messages by voluntarily sending an initial text message to a published Community Connect phone number. The phone number is published on the community’s website and in community communications. No messages are sent to users who have not first texted the number. Opt-in is never pre-selected or assumed.
Opt-Out: Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message. You will not receive any further messages unless you text the number again.

Data Retention: We do not maintain long-term records of individual text conversations. Phone numbers of users who opt out by replying STOP are removed from our active messaging list.
Children’s Privacy: Our service is not directed to individuals under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes: We may update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
